Addressing a religious issue has always been most delicate especially when religion and power are combined. Each religion has had its model of conquest and of ruling its new territories.

With the 21st century, the post-colonial western world, as well as the post-soviet and Asian worlds, are experiencing a comeback of the 7th century conquest of Islam. The difference between both conquests is worth considering:

- In the 7th century, when Islam reached Poitier in France, Vienna in Austria, and China and India in Asia, it was a real military conquest of Arab conquerors.

- In the 21st century, Islam is imposing its “Sharia Law” in Muslim areas, and using the local “democratic systems” of none Muslim countries to “impose in a rampant way” its Sharia Law.

Should we be concerned? Worried?

This is a subjective decision of each of us where I would not interfere. I simply thought that the following analysis (History Lessons from Years Under Islamism by Majid Rafizadeh) might bring more light to what you know or believe about the Islamist move that is conquering the world in our present century.
