In the attached essay (The Fate of Empires and Search for Survival, W. Blackwood & Sons Ltd, Edinburgh 1977), and in a pure straightforward military style, Sir John analyzes the evolution of Empires throughout 4000 years of known history.
At a time when the French and British Empires have already fallen after the second world war, the Soviet Empire has become old history, and that new Empires are getting ready on the front of the scene: China and India, not forgetting Putin's attempts for Russia, while the North American Empire of the USA is well shaken and vacillating.
This essay is worth being read. It might explain much of what is happening in the Middle East, but also what is expected for the world, it definitely should get us away from the stupid influence of mis-information by corporate media.
