The first year of President Trump’s mandate has been tough all over but especially in the Middle East where his “Peace Plan of the Century” has been dragging with expected “collateral damages”

Breaking the Arab unity around the Palestinian case was possible through the complicity of the petro monarchies of Saudi Arabia and the UAE. This very dangerous game become the final act of the collapse of what was called the Arab world in the 20th century.

Obstacles to the “Peace Plan of the Century” are numerous. It did not expect losing against Assad’s Syria. It has failed up till now stopping Putin’s expansion in the region. It still under estimate Iran’s people.

Today the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, created in 1921 as consolation prize to thank the Hashemite dynasty for their support in WW I against the Ottomans and compensate their loss to the Saud tribe, of their ancestral land of Hijaz where they ruled for centuries the two Holly Cities of Mecca and Medina, this Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan is at stake.

The analysis by Moon of Alabama ("U.S.-Saudi Pressure On Jordan Opens The Way For Iran") explains why and how it may vanish soon, one century after its creation.

Will King Abdullah II be as smart as his late father King Hussein? Will he be able to overcome the present crisis and preserve his Kingdom and his status of Protector of the Holly Sites of Islam and Christianity in Jerusalem?

Or will the “Peace Plan of the Century” mean that he has to go?

After the long list of countries to be destroyed as announced by Wesley Clark, we expected next one to be Iran not Jordan!
