Battle of the Ages to stop Eurasian integration

While we moved from the bipolar post WW2 confrontation between the USA and Soviet Union, into the unipolar hegemony of the USA after the fall of the Berlin war, we entered lately in the era of a new confrontation: Eurasia v/s USA.

Once again, the culture of the belligerents is a determining factor of their strategy. On the one side we have the Chinese vision of conquest through trade, working closer by the day with a Russian vision of conquest by diplomacy, while both are handling “defense” and “politics” in a smart, strong and efficient manner. On the other side we have the USA which vision could not be better expressed than by Retired US Army Colonel Lawrence Wilkerson, Colin Powell’s chief of staff from 2001 to 2005:

America exists today to make war. How else do we interpret 19 straight years of war and no end in sight? It’s part of who we are. It’s part of what the American Empire is. We are going to lie, cheat and steal, as Pompeo is doing right now, as Trump is doing right now, as Esper is doing right now … and a host of other members of my political party, the Republicans, are doing right now. We are going to lie, cheat and steal to do whatever it is we have to do to continue this war complex. That’s the truth of it. And that’s the agony of it.”

At a moment when “Low Intensity Warfare” has served its time since the 1951 Korean war, through Vietnam war, the war in Lebanon, that of Yugoslavia, followed by Greater Middle East wars, Will this “confrontation of cultures” between the USA and Eurasia lead to a global war?
